Artemis Investment Management Limited was established by Mark Tyndall, John Dodd, Derek Stuart and Lindsay Whitelaw in 1997 as a dedicated active investment management house specialising in growing the money of retail investors. They wanted to create a company that offered investors superior returns and service, as well as being a progressive and a vibrant place to work for its employees.

Since the launch of the first funds in 1998, the company's success has meant it now manages an asset base of some £9.8bn* and has become one of the leading fund management groups in the UK.
